Most common drugs have a chance of being targeted by Trump tariffs.
In the basement of a Salt Lake City pharmacy, hundreds of amber-colored plastic pill bottles sit stacked in rows. Benjamin Jolley and his colleagues worry that the tariffs could drive companies out of business while raising prices and creating more of the drug shortages that have plagued American patients for several years. Jolley bought six months worth of the most expensive bottles, hoping to shield his business from the 10% tariffs on imported goods that President Donald Trump announced on April 2. Jolley is worried that the costs of the medications that will fill those bottles will go up because of the threats of additional tariffs. A study suggests that weight-loss drugs may lower cancer risk in people with diabetes. Jolley said that using tariffs to push manufacturing from China and India to the U.S. makes sense. In the event of a war, China could stop all exports to the US. I am aware of the rationale for tariffs....

A healthy lifestyle is not enough.
Metabolic health is one of the nation's most serious challenges. The term describes what millions of Americans don't have: trim waistlines, good blood pressure, and optimal levels of blood sugar, triglycerides and cholesterol. The results include epidemics of diabetes and heart disease, as well as other diseases such as cancer due to poor metabolism. There are two competing responses and anyone paying attention could be forgiven for thinking so. According to the lifestyle response associated with the Trump administration's "Make America Healthier Again" movement, nutrition and exercise are the keys. Drugs and surgeries are prioritized by the medical intervention side. Neither would produce game-changing results on their own. Let's cue the constructive consensus and set aside the competition....

The House Republicans want to ban federally funded 'trans gender animal' experiments.
A group of House Republicans are asking for spending bills to include language prohibiting federal funding for transvestite experiments on animals. The Republican congressmen are urging. "None of the funds made available by this or any other Act thereafter may be used for research on vertebrate animals for the purpose of studying the effects of drugs, surgery, or other interventions to alter the human body." The letter was addressed to the Chairman and Ranking Member of the House. The Trump administration has cut federal funding for the care of trans animals. The Department of Government Efficiency has canceled millions of dollars in grants because of President Trump's opposition to these experiments. House GOP members said that many of the grants funding gender transitions for lab animals are still active. During his address to Congress in March, President Donald Trump condemned animal experimentation....

McCaul wants to pay Texas back for fighting Biden border policies.
Texas could get billions of dollars in funds that it spent on border security under a provision tucked into President Donald Trump's big, beautiful bill. The legislation earmarked $12 billion for a grant program allowing states to be reimbursed for costs they incurred trying to stem the flow of illegal immigration during the Democratic administration. Hours before the final vote, the measure was added to the bill by Rep. Michael McCaul, the former chairman of the House Homeland Security and Foreign Affairs Committees. The chair of the Homeland Security Committee and I were talking about reconciliation early on. McCaul said there was about $70 billion for the border. Texas was the center of the federal mission for the last four years. He had a conversation with Governor Abbott. While the text does not name Texas specifically, Fox News Digital was told that the measure's inclusion was primarily sought by the Lone Star state's congressional delegation....

A New York City man has been charged with kidnapping and torturing his former business partner, using a taser, chainsaw and other twisted methods, in order to steal his passwords. Loyal holders hold their ground, and that's the reason for the 5% slide.
Following significant price volatility, Shiba Inu has formed a consolidation pattern. The meme token faced intense selling pressure with volume reaching 1.72 trillion during peak decline, but multiple tests of support showed strong buyer interest. Despite short-term fluctuations, the data shows remarkable holder loyalty, with over 1.13 million addresses maintaining their positions for more than a year. The Shiba Inu platform is focused on improving decentralization. The team's strategy is to enhance utility beyond meme status. While technical indicators show mixed signals with moderate bullish momentum but lacking strong confirmation, predictions from platforms like Google's Gemini suggest potential growth to $0.00003 by 2025, representing a possible 105.9% increase from current levels. Over the course of the day, the overall range spanned from a high of 0.00001507 to a low of 0.00001424, with a volatility range of 5.5%. Before we admit that Trump was right on Ukraine, how many more useless deaths are there?
When trying to save the lives of hundreds of thousands of people, including countless children, became something to be criticized? When did sending hundreds of thousands of Ukrainian soldiers into the teeth of the Russian war machine become the go-to policy of certain neoconservatives, many on the left and a fair number of editorial writers? I read two recent columns and thought of these questions. The New York Post has a story titled "Trump is getting the Ukraine-Russia war all wrong and he's making it even harder on himself." The Detroit Free Press has a story titled "I was U.S. ambassador." I resigned because of Trump's foreign policy, which I believe to be correct. Since the start of the war, I have disagreed with a lot of what he has written. The neocon class always seems to be advocating for the U.S. military to engage in "forever wars", and that's why some believe Lowry to be a megaphone for them. The constant theme for those who criticize Trump is that Putin is evil and must be defeated at all costs....

The fate of the US home solar market is in GOP Senate hands.
The future of the $20 billion US residential solar market depends on whether Senate Republicans will challenge their brethren in the House of Representatives and change provisions of the massive tax and spending bill. The House passed a bill this week that would eliminate tax credits for companies that lease rooftop solar systems as well as homeowners who buy them. California, the nation's biggest residential solar market, is reeling from tariffs on imported equipment, high interest rates and reduced state incentives. Sunnova Energy International Inc., a major rooftop solar company, is laying the groundwork for a bankruptcy filing, which will shut down the industry next year. Moderate Republican senators, who have already said they don't favor gutting clean-energy incentives, are the solar executives' hope. It is not clear how willing the party will be to change the bill in order to appease fiscal hardliners in the lower chamber. Mary Powell, chief executive officer of Sunrun Inc., the nation's biggest residential solar company, said that many senators are focused on the fact that they don't want to pull out the rug. The industry has been struggling despite subsidies from former President Joe Biden's Inflation Reduction Act....

The absurdity of a young, healthy teen needing 50 or 60 COVID boosters over a lifetime is not proven. Big pharma will have to show hard data in the future.

I only just read the summary of the changes to tax that the firm that administered my business taxation and regulatory compliance tasks sends after each budget. I have long been skeptical about making tax digital. I don't see why an elaborate system to calculate tax should be developed for a small group of people. Everyone who is employed pays their taxes via PAYE. Lower levels of interest and dividends are not protected by pension wrappers. If you have a small amount of savings income, you shouldn't have to file a return every quarter. The income threshold for being required to sign up for MTD is £50K pa now, but will fall to £20K in a few years time. I think this is one of the ways to force citizens to have a digital identity relationship with the government within a few years....

Buggery and Freemasonry are related to Judaism.
The traumatic nature of sexual abuse imposed, as my Masonic pedophile grandfather said, when the child is "the younger the better, because then they won't talk" is the core element of Satanic Ritual Abuse and mind control. As an innate survival defense against intimate sexual violation of the body, the mind splits and a trauma wall is created behind which the horrible experience is hidden. Satan's control of the fallen human being is at the center of this ritual abuse. The sexual abuse of young boys in a medical procedure at the age of 8 days known as "circumcision" has been a part of the satanic Jewish culture for thousands of years. This violation and abuse is imposed upon infant gentile boys to signify their subservient position as "shabez goy", animal slaves to the Jewish race. It is less understood that this ancient satanic ritual is hidden, deeply embedded in black African culture, and is intended to destroy the essential, fundamental sacred nature of African black women, cause extreme pain, suffering, guilt and confusion, and similarly declare those so damaged to be "chattel", This buried reality is exposed by the testimony of this Miss Universe contestant. This insanity is not intended to exist on what was created to be a sacred planet....
